Commissions

2022 Commission Price List

If you would like to commission a portrait please contact me via email, Facebook or phone. All of my details can be found on the contact page of this site.

My portraits are completed using the finest quality equipment. My paper of choice is Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper, which has a textured surface that holds the beautiful colour pigmentation of the pencils and is excellent for capturing animal fur.

Prices listed are for individual subjects. If you would like to add more subjects into one portrait there is an additional price of £60 per subject. Custom sizes are also available, please contact me with the size required and I can give you an idea of cost. Please note that prices are inclusive of working time and equipment used.

In order to secure your booking, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required and only once you are completely happy with your portrait will the remaining balance be paid on collection/delivery.

I am delighted to say that I can take commissions for those outside of the UK and have already shipped to the likes of Australia, Germany and the United States. I will convert all payments into your local currency and work out the fairest shipping method for your portrait.

All finished commissions come signed in a clear sleeve and upon request can be mounted for an additional £10. I take the upmost care when packaging your portraits as they mean as much to me as they do to you! When sending portraits by mail they are carefully wrapped in a protective layer of bubble wrap and cardboard before going into a protective mail bag to ensure they get to you in perfect condition ready to be framed up and cherished forever.

It is my firm belief that anyone who wants a portrait of their beloved pet should have it made possible for them; therefore, I am willing to help anyone with a budget by staging payments in gradual instalments to make things easier.

Gift Cards:

As an alternative to ordering a commission directly I also offer gift cards. If you have a friend or family member who would cherish a portrait of their beloved pet then a gift card can be a kind and thoughtful present. To purchase a gift card I require a 25% deposit of the overall portrait cost, this allows the receiver the opportunity to adjust specifically the type and size of portrait to their preference. If you have any further queries or requests regarding the gift cards please don't hesitate to get in touch and I can help you with any questions you may have.

A Note On Photographs:

I will need a high quality photograph of your pet - the more the merrier so I can get a feel for what your lovely pet is like! What works best is a photograph taken either outside, or in an area of good daylight (no filters please!). This gives an accurate depiction of coat and eye colour and is most flattering for a portrait for getting those highlights from your furbabies shiny coat.

Please note that if your image is not of a good quality I will not be able to produce as high a quality portrait as I need to be able to see all of the details. A good way to check the quality of your photograph is by zooming in on your photograph to check how pixelated it gets. If unsure I am happy to advise you when you send the photographs to me. Those within a 10 mile radius of KA10 who would like me to photograph your pet for you can get in touch to discuss.

These are some good examples
of photographs that
give a good representation of
the animal with optimum detail.
Please note the clarity of the eyes
in each picture. This is essential
for capturing the soul of the animal.
